Donations will be distributed directly to families in the Kaneland community who may benefit from a little extra support.

Preschool Interest Applications
We are accepting Preschool applications for the 2026-2027 School Year.

Summer School
Save the Date! Registration for Summer School will open in Infinite Campus on April 6.
The final cours booklet will be available the wee of March 23, 2026.

Location: Kaneland John Stewart Elementary School in Elburn
More information, including final course booklet, course times, and course fees will be available the week of March 23rd, 2026. ** Transportation will not be provided.**
About Us
John Shields Elementary School is part of the Kaneland Community Unit School District 302 and serves students from Sugar Grove, Aurora,and Elburn. Over 600 students from Early Childhood through fifth grade make up the John Shields family.
